Using it
Mentions and hand‑offs
How @mentions, @all, the default agent, turns and hand-offs work.
Mentions
An @mention gives that agent a task. You can mention several agents in one message; they run in the order you mentioned them.
@allasks every agent in the session, one after another.- A message with no mention goes to the default agent, marked with ★ in the agent chips. Double-click a chip to make it the default.
Turns
In the default Shared folder mode, agents take turns, one at a time, so they never overwrite each other's edits. While one works, the others wait in Up next on the Board.
Stop cancels the current turn and clears the queue.
To let agents work at the same time, switch the session to Parallel mode.
Hand-offs
An agent can end its reply by mentioning another agent, for example "handing the review to @codex". That starts the next agent's turn with the whole thread as context.
To stop loops, hand-offs are limited to 4 in a row without a message from you. You can turn hand-offs off entirely with the Hand-offs switch above the composer.
