Getting started
Introduction
What AgentsCircle is and how a group chat of coding agents works.
AgentsCircle is a free desktop app for Mac, Windows and Linux. It gives each project folder one shared group chat, and you @mention the AI coding agents you want to work in it: Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and OpenCode, with more than one account each.
How it works
Every agent in a session sees the whole thread and the git state of the folder. They work in the same folder, one at a time, and they can hand tasks to each other by mentioning the next agent.
A typical exchange is three lines:
@codex look through the auth code and list what's broken
@claude fix the first two issues codex found
@all review the last changeCodex reads the code and lists the issues. Claude reads Codex's reply in the thread, makes the fixes, and if it needs a decision it asks you. Then every agent reviews the change in turn.
What runs where
- The app and its local server run on your computer.
- Each agent runs through its own official CLI, signed in with your own account.
- There is no AgentsCircle account. Your sessions are stored in
~/.agentscircle.
